Power of YOGA - BEYOND EXERCISE !!!

This is my first blog so I thought to start with power of yoga and some history about it !!!

There is some myth about Yoga, It is an exercise to keep your body healthy and fit. This is not true however, It is just one of its aspect.
It's more of mind skill, if you are enjoying in any instance, To ability remain center in the adverse situation is yoga.
Harmony and joy are yoga. It’s a connection between finite and infinite.
WOW we experience is yoga !!!

The yoga is derived from Sanskrit word yoga "yuj" which means to add, to link, or join.
The core of yoga is uniting your MIND, BODY & SOUL(MBS).

It’s a balance of physical, mental and spiritual practices.
It’s the secret of happiness and healthy life and hidden deep inside us.
It is the science of realizing our self. Yoga is a foundation is consciousness, harmony and bliss.

Yoga not only rejuvenates our body but regular practice of yoga provides eternal peace. It has the self-healing power to fix our disorders. The discipline of yoga makes us aware of ourselves by doing simple asanas, meditation & breathing techniques.

It's practiced in India for more than 5000 years, Also being described in Bhagavad Gita and Yoga Sutra very precisely.
The Bhagavad Gita defines many types of yoga some of them are

Karma Yoga: is consecration of all actions and their fruits
Jnana Yoga : is yoga of true knowledge. Self-realization, its looks the for truth about who we are and what we experiencing.
Bhati Yoga: is devotion and love for any endeavor, to connect to the Supreme by means of loving devotional service.

About Yoga Sutra

Yoga sutra was written by the sage Patanjali, It's made of two-word yoga and sutra, Yoga means union & sutra means thread: He describes the yoga as 8 fold path that leads to the ultimate goal of Samadhi (pure consciousness).

• Yamas (Ethical Standards)
• Niyamas (Self-Discipline)
• Asana (Postures)
• Pranayama (Breathing Techniques)
• Pratyahara (Sensory Withdrawal)
• Dharana (Concentration)
• Dhyana (Meditation)
• Samadhi (Pure Consciousness)

To conclude, In today world we see lots of Stress, Depression and Anxiety, which are very harmful to our body. So to help yourself, start the day with Yoga. The outcome would be tremendous.
Its not practices its lifestyle it pumps positive energies and improves quality of life. It will illuminate life beyond pain and suffering.
