No effort is ever wasted

Inspired by @daltono today.

One of my all time favourite quotes, I got from my teacher after a super intense Vinyasa class was – No effort is ever wasted, on or off the yoga mat.

As I sat there on my mat, this spiralled into a translation for me:

-The effort of turning up to class isn’t wasted,
-The effort I pushed through to build up my strength in a challenging pose wasn’t wasted.
-The effort I put in to focus my mind on my breath wasn’t wasted.
-The smile I gave the receptionist on the way out was noticed.
-The effort of dragging myself out of bed on the early alarm to feed and walk the dogs isn’t wasted.
-The effort I put in mentoring people at work isn’t wasted.
-The hug I gave my loved ones when I got home wasn’t wasted
-The effort we put into each of our steemit posts isn’t wasted.
The list could go on and on and on
Every second, every moment, if it is done with truth and soul is not wasted
