Christmas Snowball | Tutorial

in #xmas6 years ago

December is the month where imagination and creativity take full advantage

Greetings, friends, art lovers!

Today I bring you something different, it is not a usual drawing, this time I want to share with you another one of my passions that is the craft, the next post is about how to make a Christmas snowball.

I love doing crafts and I want to show you how I made this Christmas snowball in a fast and simple way.

The Christmas Snowballs are a perfect gift and both big and small are liked, do not hesitate to put this craft into practice, there is nothing more than giving a gift made by your own hands. I WILL GIVE!

Here I leave the whole process for its creation, I hope you like it:

Materials:

  • Filtered or distilled water
  • A glass jar with its lid
  • Glycerin
  • Water resistant glue
  • Frost, glitter (preferably silver or blue)
  • Bright pieces of paper and colored figures (optional)
  • A piece of cloth (to personal taste)
  • A rubber band, elastic or "depending on the term of your country"
  • 30 cm ribbon of the color of your preference
  • Christmas figure (in my case it is a small tree colored and decorated by a child and later plasticized)

Recommendations:

  • The filtered or distilled water is so that no microbes are generated.
  • Make sure that the lid saws very well.
  • Glycerin may be optional, it is used to thicken the water and make the frost, glitter or glitter float longer.
  • Make sure that the figure you are going to place between perfectly in the bottle, both lake and width.
  • Use a very resistant glue since with the contact of the water tends to take off the ornament.
  • Wash the bottle thoroughly to remove debris both inside and outside.
  • It is recommended that this manual is made by an adult since the bottle must be handled a lot.

PROCESS

Stick the figure you selected to the lid and let it dry several hours.

Fill the whole bottle with water.

Pour 15 drops of glycerin if the bottle is small, if it is large use 20 or 25 drops.

Stir until all the glycerin is dissolved.

Select the materials you want to pour into the bottle.

Pour the selected materials.

Try filling the bottle to the edge (it does not matter if it spills) and close the bottle.

Cut out a circle of cloth to cover the bottle mark (it must be larger than the lid).

Put the garter to hold the piece of cloth.

Finish by placing the ribbon around the lid to avoid seeing the league, put the name of the person to whom you want to give it, and ready our original Christmas Snowball is ready to give to that special person.
