Based off @fishmon creative art, here is a story for entry into Mike's Prompt Challenge, week number two!

The Ponzi Player

Oh randowhale, how have you found yourself in this place? Just a few years ago he was on top of the world. A hit movie and mainstream success. He had all the money in the world, everyone thought he was the best.

However, with great success comes responsibility. Of which, he had none. Large wagers on game after game. Losses piling, he's movie money could not keep up.

Russian mobsters he owed much money too. Those are not the type of people you want to be accountable too. A broken here, a broken finger there. The beatings would continue until he could pay is wagering fare.

Rando hatched an elaborate plan, he could generate the money through curation and posts. If he only had massive steem power to make this all work.

He reached out the Blacklist, the sacriest steemit member of them all. However, Blacklist had the power he would need, even if that power could be used to cut him out at the knees.

Rando asked Blacklist for some well needed credit. He would pay whatever juice Blacklist wanted in order to get it.

Blacklist granted him the 50,000 steem power he seeked. Rando's plan was funded, though the odds of it working were bleak.

Post four times a day and upvote like crazy. Resteem posts to turn their rewards into a frenzy.

The first week started looking bright, he was about to get payouts that would outpace the interest rate Blacklist set. Anything let over after that, the Russians got the rest.

Filled with a moment of hope, a light at the end of the tunnel he could see.

Suddenly his post values begin to diminish, what could this be?

The flagger had gotten wind of his posts. Figured out what he was doing and refused to let him get paid out. The flagger hit his posts just before the 24 hour window you see; Rando's posts were now a fraction of what they used to be.

The next day Blacklist came knocking for Rando to pay out. Rando explained what happened, but Blacklist did not hesitate to hit him with all his clout.

With just one flag, Rando's rep went to zero. He had no payouts coming and the Russians were knocking.

Left with no other choice; Rando snuck out his bathroom window. Fled the city and crossed state lines.

No one has seen him in months, but not a single soul is surprised at why.

The legend of Rando, how did you fall so fast? Got hooked on that rush of gambling, so very very bad!
