Oh...so I guess my erotica story about a turtle and her dolphin soul mate trapped in an ultra-abusive relationship is out... I'll have to come up with something else. :-) (On a serious note, love this contest. Hope I can come up with something for it.)

    Come up with something, please! It can be LESS than 500 words.
    The animal doesn't have to go all Lassie and save someone's life.

      Er, "short and sweet" is a cliche. I'm not into sentimental, tear-jerker sweet. But hey, even a Rhino can be pleasantly surprised.
