I thought they were going to go balls to the wall and jump that fence and charge in but this is probably just as dramatic :D
Haha! Jumping the fence would mean falling down a cliff, I'm not that heartless ;>)

Oh, the boy chose courage ! I thought he would, and it's nice to read that he did :) I wonder what will happen next.... I like that they seem to get small chances to get to know each other, despite the high-tension situation they are in... That second last paragraph with both of them having actual fear inwardly, but putting on a brave face... that's really sweet of both of them :) Really enjoyed this chapter. Looking forward to the next chapter, for sure !
