The Ghost Class (update #02): Visual and Symbolical Inspirations
A dinner with Pier Paolo Pasolini in a tiny restaurant in Rome. In-between dishes I’m fervently chatty, going through my socio-political vision and situation of an Italian, European citizen. During coffee and Amaro, I’ve been criticised by his firm yet comprehensive voice.
It was just a dream, but this ingenue sparkle gave me the strength to write The Ghost Class and to keep the project running here on STEEM.
In this post, I’ll list out three movies that influenced my visual and symbolical representation. Movies that helped my mental images to clarify their creative processes and build a unique essence that I translated into a script that will become perceptions, again.
The Hawks and The Sparrows - Pier Paolo Pasolini (1966)
Stranger Than Paradise - Jim Jarmusch (1984)
The Gold Diggers - Sally Potter (1983)
