'Why can I think, when I can't even get answers to the questions that I ask myself in the process?' he shouts over the roar of gasoline engines.
‘What's really bothering you?'
Pit stops for a second.
'Why are we here?'
‘We're going to your conference.’
‘You know very well that I’m talking about the world, the matter, about life.’
'You live to be filled with a feeling of contentment from the moment you open your eyes to the moment you close them forever. At the same time, that is your sole duty. The rest is only an illusion, a fabrication of your egocentric mind,' I say.

'It cannot be that simple', he murmurs after a brief reflection and continues to walk.
'The beauty of simplicity is the beauty of life. The sooner you accept it, the sooner you will realize the contentment and enjoy the calmness, already within you.'
A verbal knockout.

Pit weighs every word, measures it and carefully packs. His mind tirelessly develops new possibilities of maneuvering toward the next sequence of the mind war. And I'd rather see him understand that a pleasant state without thought is actually a human's greatest blessing. The reason for existence, which he worries about, gains its importance only after the mind recognizes the beauty in everything.
Verbal knockouts are mostly in vain.
