LAB RATS!! The Game

Play LAB RATS today!

Sure, you are the mean Science Official-- you can send the cops in to break up the LAB RAT'S little 'lawful assembly' and collect your 100 POINTS, but wouldn't it be better (500 POINTS!) if you could get the rats to beat each other up instead?

Is it your turn  to be the RAT? Will you let FEAR and SCARCITY put you crying in the corner of your cage, or will you be able to UNITE ALL THE RATS before it's TOO LATE?


Grab your friends and the whole neighborhood to play the classic LAB RATS game! 

 
Players, or RATS, use their collective wits to outsmart the Science Official, who's maze of constant challenges keeps the RATS in perpetual FEAR, unless they can work together to win the game!

Players have the choices to:  

* Play against the maze's own diabolical Science Official.
* They can choose to elect a player from their group to play the Science Official.
* Players can roll dice to select a Science Official from their group.
* Players can take turns being the Science Official.

To begin a game, RATS are allotted 50 units of TIME-- (It can be traded for POINTS, but TIME is their most valuable currency.)  

Players also begin with 100 POINTS-- lesser in value than TIME, but ultimately needed in order to win the game.  

The Science Official begins the game with unlimited TIME and resources, but with no POINTS.

Winning at LAB RATS!!

RATS: The object of the game for a RAT is to try to get as many POINTS as possible before running out of TIME.

 

"I thought I had more TIME!!" 

 SCIENCE OFFICIAL: The object of the game for the Science Official is to persuade the RATS to willfully give up all of their POINTS before running out of TIME, while also forcing the RATS into giving up all of their TIME trying to earn more POINTS.  

Earning Points

*The Science Official- can earn POINTS from RATS through fines, fees, bails, taxes, licensing, votes, petition signatures, etc.  
BONUS POINTS can be earned for interrupting protests, disinformation campaigns, mounting surveillance cameras, creative TV, forced medication, etc.   

*RATS- can earn POINTS by organizing community groups, making their own 'cheese' (food), refusing to pay fines, fees, taxes, etc.  
BONUS POINTS for RATS can be earned by thinking about it all logically for just a Minute, learning of the game's rules and Science Official's tactics, recreation, procreation, active non-violent civil disobedience, etc.

"These babies are only worth HOW MANY points?"
