RE: If I Could Only Give You One Tip on Steemit, Here's What It Would Be, You Won't Believe How Simple it is!
Yes, but this is normal marketing stuff. I thought Steemit was meant to be different....see my post. For a spiritual researcher it is not easy to decide to go (back) to that game, and one definitely doesn't want to end up giving advice New Age-style. I'm in a difficult non-market!
All you suggest is definitely easier than what I am trying now! I might even give it a go as a last bit of fireworks. It's not like I haven't got a library full of one-liners.
Thanks for your extended reply.
Game? You mean human psychology? So,offering to help people is too gimmicky for you? Guess you're just out of luck. There is no other way. Sorry. You can offer all the new age help you want, but first, find people that want it.
I don't think you read me too closely.... I exactly do NOT want to hand out New Age help. And what's luck got to do with it? I was wondering what people need, and who knows what they really want anyway? And why can't they find it in real life? What's wrong with us? Are we really in need of anything else but validation and attention here? What is your value really on Steemit if not a number? I think these are the topics that could be investigated by a platform like Steemit, instead of it becoming another Face-booky place.
Of course, and you know it, a player yourself, that Steemit is 50% a game! Where there is money involved there is always a smart way to play it. So my inquiry is how that fits with the idea that Steemit is all about being genuine and true to yourself?
Besides, I wouldn't get to psychological about anything here. You should put a warning on the tin if you are going to (seriously?) suggest we offer psychological help! It's just another club and for some it's fun, for others small-fry business. For most, actually, it comes with additional stresses and insecurities. We must all be wary of the addiction it can become, covering up failure, loneliness or boredom.
There are a lot of nets when you make yourself a Steemian Fish....
Psychology, of marketing. Okay, have a nice day.
