Toronto Maple Leafs

It looks like the Toronto Maple Leafs is ONLY Canadian team returning to the Stanley Cup Playoff from last year's playoff...and let's hope that they have a better run than last year.....

Last year the Maple Leafs got into the playoff as the last Wild Card team and they have to faced the Washington Capitals in the First Round of the Playoff....This year, they most likely will make the playoff as the 3rd team in the Division and their opponent will be the 2nd team in the Division (either Tampa Bay or Boston)....
FACT: Toronto have a better Head-to-Head record against Boston (3-1) than against Tampa Bay (1-2-1) for the 2017-18 campaign...

Last year was the team's first experience of playoff with a bunch of brand new young players under a new coach (Mike Babcock)...and this year they have the experience needed plus knowing more of each others playing style and coaches' expectation so I believe that they can make it past the First Round of the playoff....

Let's also congrat to the Winnipeg Jets for making the playoff since re-joining the NHL....
