"The girl who wanted to reach heaven with a knife in her hands" [short-story]
Subject of experiment # 4236 has escaped from prison after assassinating subject # 4235.
Meanwhile, a small female figure crawled on the floor with an object in her hands covered by a silk handkerchief. She could not let herself be trapped again. Anything would be better than that.
Dr. Boris, had altered the holy mechanism of her body along with that of many others unfortunate, with surgeries through an indeterminate time and full of torture.
Danna was the subject's name # 4236. She no longer had hair, and her skin was scabs and bleeding wounds. She remembered with horror when the doctor kidnapped her next to # 4235. The corpses of other failed experiments were displayed before their eyes as a sign of what awaited them.
The doctor explained that his experimentation consisted in discovering the ascension of the human being towards paradise through a pain similar to that experienced by Christ on the cross. The human being could force his ascension through an exaltation artificially increased in the senses. However, many test subjects did not last long after spending days without sleep; of being skinned slowly and subjected to organ replacement.
She had managed to get out of the lab, and now she was standing on a field of yellow flowers. The light and the heat made her uncomfortable. She felt step behind her. She looked: they were the doctor and his men.
"I'm not going to let you have me" she said.
"Little girl, do not make a madness. Of all the test subjects, you are the one who has resisted the most, and therefore, the one who is closest to achieving it" said the doctor, as if trying to calm her down.
Danna took the object still covered by a handkerchief. "No, no. You will not use me to ascend. I've escaped from your hell, and my brother also thanks to this" Danna pointed to the object and uncovered it. "An angel gave it to me, said it was a flower from the one paradise, and that with it, I could reach it. My brother is gone. I have saved him Now is my turn. You will not got me"
"Do not be crazy, Danna!"
But it was too late, she got that sharp knife in her belly and opened it easily, impregnating the yellow flowers with her blood.
