Camp Nanowrimo update - 1 of 7 DONE!

My last update mentioned I had 7 chapters to finish in my first draft of my novel.

On Day 19 I can say I now have 6 chapters left!

Here's the current status of the scrivener project.

All those arrows point to the newly minted First Draft, upgraded from a To-Do status.

Feels good to be banging these out. I'm excited to share what I'm doing, but this is first draft stuff so no sneaky peekies.

I've learned that lesson the hard way. But that's for another post someday.

Thank you to everyone who has been supporting and checking in on my progress.

Believe it or not I've been telling this story for at least 15 years. It began in my car as I my daughter and I traveled long distances and she'd ask me to tell her a story. It's morphed since then (she can't forgive me that the magical black cat is no longer there), but I believe it is only for the better.

Stay tuned for more updates and maybe some other details on the project. I'm so excited to be this close!
