Many years later Mick had another brush with the supernatural after at encounter with an angry ghost girl in his old home, this time at his new home in Carrys Road, when he met the previous owner's ghost standing at the bottom of the garden one moonlight night.

The old house had an outside WC and Mick was making his way there when he saw the figure of a man framed in an aura of blue-white light. The apparition had grey hair, a white mustache and was wearing spectacles.

"He was really nice looking fellow and was wearing a grey jacket. I did not feel frightened at all. He smiled at me and then just disappeared. I knew then that I had just met a ghost."

Mick described the spirit to neighbours who told him he had encountered old Mr Cizz, a tailor, who had died in the house. Dick and his wife Lany kept seeing Mr Grey subsequently. "It was his smile that I liked. At the first encounter, he seemed to be welcoming us to his old home," said Dick with a smile of his own.
