Writer's Block

Writer's block only matters when you have an unnatural impetus to write. Otherwise, if you can't think of anything to write, don't. Sometimes silence is the currency that allows you to pay attention to others. Maybe that's just God's (or nature's) way of telling you that you need to take some time to listen to others. People have a lot of stuff to say and this world needs those who can hear. Because we all need to be heard. at times.

Of course, none of this works well with the Steem blockchain. Then again, there's no reason why it can't. One of the most overlooked aspects of this blockchain is the fact that interaction is rewarded with the opportunity to be rewarded. I remember when I first started that most of my earrings came from comments. Nobody ever read any of my posts, but they did read my comments. At least the author did. I'm not saying that my comments earned a lot, but they earned a lot by my standards.

So if you're going through writer's block, consider putting the pen down for a second. Read some of the great works from some of your friends and leave a valuable comment. You never know. It might make their day and you might earn yourself some change (and/or inspiration) along the way.
