& CHAPTER 7 Begins...

Kamal switched his sight from the lovely night sky to the two lovers as they switched positions on the bonnet: The girl climbed on top, and kept crying out loud continuously as the two continued their ritual. What a character... Each time the guy grunted, the girl slapped him and hugged his head to her confident bosom.

A noise behind forced Kamal to turn. His eyes met Xami's, which were strangely transfixed on his. He recognised the heat in them instantly and noticed the blood on her lips just in time to see it disappear as her tongue appeared. When his eyes strayed downwards, he noticed the uneven rise and fall of her chest. She held a squirrel in one hand, Kamal couldn't help but pity the creature as its limp head was lolled to one side lifelessly, portraying the huge gash on its neck. Only a tiny strip of flesh connected the head to the neck. Kamal tore his eyes away back to the trees, which the squirrel once called home. He wished to avoid Xami's face, but knew he was performing terribly. So he checked around for his other buddies.

"If you're looking for Feto and Shitta, I told them to take their time before bringing the lovers here."

Kamal's eyes met hers again, this time he let it stay, and watched as she dropped the carcass and made her way to him.

"You must understand it's been a while. This could end before we even begin," he said. "Xami, say something."

Xami didn't take her eyes off Kamal as she undressed. She knew it usually made him uneasily, and make him spill his guts. She gave him her most seductive smile as he shifted from one foot to another, and invited him to join her. She knew the way to awaken the beast inside him, so she waited patiently for him to get to her, waited for him to swallow that spit, and then she slapped him with all her might.

Xami kissed him before he could vent out his frustration. It was crushing, the kind of kiss that melted pain away and replaced madness with oblivion. In one moment, Kamal saw himself in a dark tunnel, the next moment he was about to explode from excess light.

Saed studied the three screens before him: One screen showed the daughter of a popular socialite in Hercules. Saed smiled at the scandal the video would create if it got out. The two screen showed Crawlers, creatures that could snuff out the life of everyone hidden in the van, and others parked around, along with his with the snap of a finger. Forget the armoured vehicles they'd brought had the latest reflective technology (Anyone outside will only see the surrounding vista), what if another law breaking Crawler crawled out of their hellhole undetected by all the sensors the tech guys and the mercenaries had placed in strategic positions in the town, outskirts of town, and the surrounding forests, bumps into the van. A Crawler with curiousity and anger issues.

"We are waiting for you, Saed. The tech guys are ready to open fire," Malid said.

Malid was a volunteer from the informants like Saed. He like everyone present in the van, were waiting for him. They were there when he was selected to lead this mission. And thanks to the defence minister's mysterious friend, Strykah, or whatever moniker he goes by, they even had drones, drones with adamantium bullets which were currently hovering over their targets. The Crawlers. Saed had insisted they armed the drones with adamantium bullets instead of the silver bullets laced with arsenic trioxide. He believed an opportunity like this only comes along once in a lifetime, so he'd chosen the most lethal option. If they lived, fine, if they didn't, well, so be it.

"We're waiting, sir," a tech guy who called himself Risky said. He twisted around in his chair playfully after he spoke, and never took his eyes of Saed.

"Operation Crocodile Smile, release the rain."
