I'm writing a new book called, "Light Arises in the Darkness: How to Go Through Suffering and Experience Incredible Joy"

This is a book to encourage anyone going through suffering and trials--whether financial problems, health issues, relationship conflicts, internal struggles and anything else that causes you pain in your life!

We all go through pain in our life. The question is how will you deal with it?

This book I am writing will meet you right where you're at, giving you practical advice and passionate encouragement to help carry you out of the darkness and into the light.

I'll be sharing my own stories of having gone through trials in my 40 years of life, and also stories of others as well, so that you can connect and relate to what may be going on in your own struggles. That being said, I'm just beginning the book, so if you have anything you'd like to share, let me know!

Since I'm an artist, I also plan to include illustrations to bring the ideas to life. Eventually, I plan on publishing the book in printed format as well. But I want to share it with the community on Steemit first!

So, as I go along and write, I plan on posting here for your thoughts and comments. And I hope the words and art bring encouragement and enrichment to your life.

Have a blessed day,

Best to you on the book! It's great to hear that the fruit of struggles and trials you've gone through is to actually bring hope to others who could benefit from it. A true sign of the Lord having access to your heart!

Thank you, RC. Yes, nothing goes to waste in our lives. God can use anything to glorify Him and encourage others, if we'll let Him!

Good luck with that ! You're doing a good job, while today all people want to write is fiction, you are doing noteable work for the good of people! May the force be with you! @originalworks

Thank you! I guess I'm a fan of non-fiction, so it comes naturally. :)

Good luck with the book. Sounds like an awesome project

Thank you, Aaron!

This does sound amazing....and stirs such conflict in my heart and soul. How would I answer the hard questions you will address? What would I offer if I tried to share anything? I know God is God, and His word is Truth.
Yet I know less now than ever. Not coming from bitterness usually....just an exhaustion from grief with no end...that results in my utter collapse at the Cross without answers.

When you come to the cross, you find not the answers, but the answer. And when you come in utter collapse, that is the best way to come. It's the only way to come. You can't come to the cross having the answers, because if you did, you wouldn't feel you needed the cross.

So, being in exhaustion and grief with no end, you are in the best place. You are in the place to receive God's love and mercy, that flows down from on high to fill the lowest places. Your job is to lift your hands up, reach, and receive.

And if you feel you can't do even that, then I've got good news for you: His grace, through Jesus Christ, will lift those tired arms and hands up, like a person who's been straining to push against the sides of a door frame to no avail, but then when then move away from its constraints, they find their hands rise effortlessly upwards.

Other times your desperate need, will be like a magnet, drawing your hands to heaven, to reach out and pull some of it down.

Still, there are occasions when you find yourself bowing down to the earth in heartfelt cries, much like Jesus did at Gesthemane, drenching your Bible with tears, and you'll know...

...that each teardrop is faithfully recorded in heaven. Every tear is like rain that waters the seed of God's word, that you take in, that you eat, because everything else has left you famished. And the promises, mixed with your suffering and the faith it cultivates, will come to life at just the right time.

May God bless you richly and carry you through.

I don't know what you are going through, but I can tell you this: Jesus said, "Let nothing be wasted."

Your trials are drawing you close to God, and they eventually draw to a close, when they've served their purpose to make you like Him, so you can be with Him forever.

Best of luck with your book, very apt title!
When one goes through those dark times, it feels as if you're drowning but then it passes, with God's grace, and life is glorious once more!

Thank you, Lizelle! Amen to your sentiments.

I am excited to watch your progress. Remember that through Christ, all things are possible. We just have to make sure that our wishes and desires come into alignment with our Heavenly Father's who wants us to develop and grow into a true overcomer. I have found that the biggest battles we face are in our own heart and mind.

Thank you, Nristen. Yes, I do agree with that as well. The battle is won in the mind.
