I didn't know epitome, emit and euphonious. Let me see the letter F now

·

See this. "F...!"

·

Could not resist.

I like to be extraordinary but it doesn’t happen 😂

·
·

It does happen, my dear, it does! It may take a few (more) years, but eventually, you and your loved ones will realize that you are extraordinary. You'll also realize that everyone (else) is extraordinary.

Begin that process of understanding today ... by doing something out of the ordinary. Something. Anything.

·
·

Yes, I do realize that everyone is extraordinary in their own way that’s why we must know how to appreciate small things they’ve done. 😊

Extra-ordinary Teaching skills you have.
Keep it up the good work

Are you a language teacher? wow

·

Nope. I was a language teacher years ago. Then I worked as an editor for about 10 years. Now, I work on my @maJes.tytyty blog. :-)

But as they say, "Once a teacher, always a teacher." So, I guess I still AM a language teacher, and an editor, and a writer.

some of those words are so strange with me. I think I have ever used it before. and you know my problem when writing in english is... there are a lot of words having the same meanning, and I dont know which one i should use to make it natural. Sometimes I choose wrong word and make my sentence so weird. lol

·

Yes, that's natural with such new words, and with trying to learn an advanced vocabulary. You find words that have subtle differences in meaning or nuance, but whose meanings seem the same.

Of course, that can create difficulty, because you may choose the wrong word. But it also creates an opportunity to express yourself more clearly.

By way of example, I always edit my writing, and I often change words, even after I write a complete text / post / message. I often refer to a dictionary of synonyms (or I refer to that online resource "VOCAB-ABILITY), and look for words that might express my thoughts more clearly. Sometimes I find a better word, sometimes I don't.

Hope you can "choose the right words." ☺

·
·

I do the same way with you. I am not a native so i just know some basic words. The way of building my vocabulary is I wrote a simple sentence to express my thinking first. Then I find some synonyms in dictionary. Then check it out and pick which one fit with my context the most.

With vietnamese, I love to play with words and choose uncommon ones. But with english, I need to learn more to be able to “play” with it. 😊😊

·
·
·

Not only is language a great tool to express yourself, it's also a very interesting subject on its own. I love to do word games and crossword puzzles (although I don't do many nowadays.)

Keep learning and playing with words. And I hope you continue to find Vocab-ability useful and interesting.

I was thinking what I missed :) Glad I was able to see this. Learned something again
