I always dreamt of going to space as a kid. I look back and there I am. The young innocent dreamer with a fascination with space.
For me, the possibility of alien life has always been a possible prospect. I could definitely see the potential of vast space and time that lays unexplored ahead of us humans. In all my time as a child i never could prepare myself for this moment. I am in my last phases of training for life on exoplanet KEP-468. A planet with a lot of potential. From what we can tell with current telescopes, it has an atmosphere containing trace oxygen, co2, hydrogen and carbon. It is a rocky planet with active volcanic activity but also ice caps which indicate a strong atmosphere and magnetic poles. With a 283-day annual cycle around its sun, the temperature can potentially reach over 110 degrees in the summer heat. Without better lenses we cannot tell if any vegetation is on the surface but the hope is high.

I am part of a team that intends to go to KEP-468. The mission is coined operation exo-genesis. Its mission is two-fold. First to establish an effective space colony in Earth orbit as the prime initiative. Secondary to the prime initiative is operation exo-genesis or team Genesis. Our mission was founded after the initial colonization of earths first space city, Caelestis station. Its colonization begun slow; at first only occupied by military and scientists. Over time more doors have opened to the general public. There is one thing that all of us dread. This relief is only temporary. Spaces will fill and the race to build faster will resume as will the ever increasing population of the earth. This is my mission. To find life beyond the reaches of the earth. Hospitable for humans. KEP-468 shows the greatest potential of the stars in our visible galaxy. If there is life, it is there.

With NASA'S new Tesla derived microwave propulsion we can now get there. The technology boasts 1 lightyear every 10 months of travel using the limitless vacuum of space as fuel. Its 2045 now and the earth clearly is not sustainable with this level of population. Efforts have begun to speed up the building of living spaces and production is going well but not fast enough. People have begun to build into the sea, populate in cubicle like environments, and building skyscrapers that touch the clouds. Millions of species have been wiped out along with whole ecosystems. The climate zones have shifted and made the north and south poles tropical rainforests. What used to be rainforest is now desert where little thrives in the arid and dry conditions. Solar panels scour that region powering what is left of the world.

The need for a new earth has now begun and the search along with it...

hi @kauslevi

Space is an amazing place, only there has to be done there except to see? I do not really understand the need to get there but if you enjoy it I'm happy. I think here every ball in the country has a lot to do and I'm sure you have not even seen half ... Maybe you'll do some trip to Thailand and enjoy what I've been enjoying for a year instead of flying to a place where even air is not there ...
@ravivshachar

Humans by nature are an exploratory species. I don't know about you but I feel an innate drive to explore other worlds. Glad to hear other perspectives though. Thanks for your opinion friend!
