"Silent Voices"

The “Silent Voices” are the loudest.

They speak in ways and in languages
Which everyone understands.

When we use the muscles of our faces
To shape a smile, ☺
We are shouting across a distance that a spoken
Word could not transverse.

We speak with our silent voices each
Time we reach out our hands to help someone.
We SHOUT our Love to the world when we shed a tear over some injustice.

We fling our joy to the winds each time we laugh with
Each other in happiness.

Our silent voices are the
Loudest, the strongest and the best ways for us
To communicate with each other, because
Our silent voices speak heart-to-heart.

Try it;
Just sit in silence with another person,
Let the silence soak in, and see if
You can’t tell something has
Passed between you after
Some time has passed.
