Awesome initiative! I enjoy a good 'ol choose-your-adventure story. I've seen one or two initiatives like this on Steemit before though, but the premise of the stories are different. It was from a few months ago, so no, I don't have the link to them haha!

As much as I would like to invest my time in this, my internet troubles might prevent me from doing so. Plus, I have this policy of actively investing my time to people who regularly comment on my posts. Not a slight against you, brother, it's just a means to prevent another major burnout on my part :) You seem like a cool dude though, and we'll see what the future holds in terms of our interaction. I would definitely like to submit an entry in a future chapter.

For this one, it's a nice story you established. Aiden and Lauren already feels like fully fleshed out characters, which is hard to do in just the first chapter of a story that picks up in media res, so kudos. Personally, I prefer him to stay in the woods, because he feels like he has a rebellious side to him. But, for the sake of being a contrarian, I would elect for him to go back to the tribe and go against his nature haha!
