Here is the one of my first stories that I wrote almost ten years ago. Off course, I would love to hear your comments.
I am not sure that there are no mistakes in the translations, so please forgive me if there are any.

THE DREAMER

Little Manzin was delirious again. His mother, a proud Dreamer with over one billion years of experience, carefully watched the monitor above his forehead. He sweated.

Images were rapidly alternated and she remembered the day when he was born. The day when he first began to dream. It was a time when the Planet was clean and untouched. Time of harmony and progress. Together with her husband, she would often fantasize how it would be nice if their child's first attempt could be successful. If he could be the one who will succeed in task that was never accomplished by any other Dreamer.

And then they came, and their hopes collapsed.

At first, she watched them on the monitor with great interest, but soon they became annoying, fitting into the clichés typical for all beginners. Manzin cultivated strange love for them. He trusted them deeply, trying to draw attention to himself far more than his peers did with their first creations. They were not deaf for his attempts, but at the end, everything was falling apart. Manzin suffered for this but never gave up, trying to correct their mistakes by giving them a new chance. Like a caring parent, he tried to erase everything what they did wrong and create them again. He burnt their cities to the ground, frightened them, rewarded and cursed them, and even placed pieces of his precious consciousness into their imperfect bodies.

Without success.

Recently, his will began to fade and it was a tremendous relief for her. He started to wake up more often which was a sure sign that he began to learn about his own mistakes. Soon he would be ready to move on. Maybe he was not brilliant, but he was on the right path to become the supreme Dreamer.

For a last few days, the intensity of the events on the monitor grew. The plains were burning, life was pouring out, and it was only a matter of a moment when an unhappy dream would turn into an absolute nightmare.

They were destructive to the points that even the experienced Dreamer like she could not be able to restrain them. Fortunately, Manzin saw the same thing.

She had to lower a sound, because the cries from the screen became so loud that they could endanger the work of her husband who was also dreaming in the other room.

Suddenly, Manzin opened his eyes. She presses her hand to his forehead and gave him a look full of love.
"It's not worth it Mom," he said sadly. There was something so lazy in his dreamy look. "I can not bother with Humans anymore ..."

"A little more son," she answered quietly. "Just a little while and the end will come. You know that everything is a matter of exercise. "

Apparently calmed by her voice, he closes his eyes. Almost immediately the images started their madly dance. Humans were really out of control and that was good for a boy. No matter how hard it was for her to leave him, there was no longer any purpose to sit next to him. Trying to make as little noise as possible she got up from the chair and turned off the light. She look back once more to make sure he is well. He breathed deeply.

Do not worry, son. Everything will be over soon. And then, you will create the perfect worlds.

Thank you, I am glad you like it :-)

It feels like it should be a part of a collection of short stories.

This is my first read from you and I hope to read many more.

Actually you are right. The Dreamer is part of my collection "Form the inside", which is not translated unfortunately. But I am so glad if you like it, and will post more stories soon. Thank you! ;-)
