Title 2017-07-28 Thought For The Day - Publish A Novel

You can Create and Publish a Novel in One Day... 31 days...or 365 days - it's your choice.

Well let me qualify that a little - for a gifted few, it is totally possible to Create and Publish a complete 72,000 word novel in

one 24-hour period.

The rest of us will need about 31 days, and if you are either very busy or very lazy, you could take up to one year, publishing
in Page-A-Day mode.

Here are the details:

O Write the story (For the not-gifted like me I create words on paper first)

O Then Voice dictation using a Tablet and Google voice input (For me, I can input between 50 to 90 words per minute, depending on how many corrections I make on my original notes, the more corrections, the slower it goes).

O After Voice to text, Edit your words, Edit your words, and then Edit your words.

O Finally you could Publish here Page by Page, or Chapter by Chapter or The Complete work and then pass it to other Book sites like Smashwords (Amazon, Kindle,…).

I can normally create/write down about 5 pages of 200 words per page in a day.

72 days therefore are needed to complete the Novel, in my case.

Voice entry - about 24 hours at 50 words per minute.

Editing the words over 72 days.

The gifted few, of course, use direct thought to voice dictation to enter their Novel, dictating at 90 -100 WPM (720 min divided by 60 = 12 hours plus 12 hours of heavy duty Editing...and then it's DONE!)

If you (being one of us less gifted) are confident of your work or want feedback, publish a Chapter and see what happens, or
put up each Chapter as it is completed (about one every 6 days, assuming about 12 chapters in your book).
