Nature

in #writing6 years ago

Nature, a force to reckon with. Mightier than the strongest armies. It strikes and everyone wants to hide. Just recently heard of extremely cold conditions in USA and Canada. My condolences to anyone who's lost a loved one from this situation. It's sad that we all know the force of nature but we don't do our human part to minimise the number of times nature will strike.

Nature is our friend, but it can cause disasters, that's why such disasters are called natural disasters. Disasters caused by nature are often so terrible that very little is done about it. If a nation wants to drop a nook, you would probably hear about it and seek refuge, or you could also retaliate but with nature, there's nothing you can do. It often starts without a warning or when there's a warning, it's often comes late.

Over the years, nations and organisations have been talking about how humanity is destroying our earth and natural habitat but seems very little is being done. I even hear there's a New World Order to try and reduce the population of the world because the earth can't support us all. It's sad to note that those taking the decisions are often those harming the earth and yet when such an action is taken, the other side who has close to nothing to do with the destruction of the earth would face such depopulation measures.

Mankind has built a lot of wonderful and amazing structures but not without the help of nature. All raw materials come from nature yet we've forgotten to replenish it. Temperatures rising all over causing the ice in the arctic to melt and we all experience the devastating effects. How much longer would mother nature keep giving us chances? It's time you and I decided to be a bit more loving to our surroundings before things get any worse.
