The world inventions: The case of producing the paper!
The discovery of the paper, also in different colors, is a great invention for the world. We are depending on paper in business life and in private life!
Think about what fantastic it is to see a papir of different sizes, and in addition getting the paper in different colors. And you can write on paper, and you can do many things with it. The different usage areas for the papir is just depending of what we think with our brains, and about creativity and new areas for the paper. And as with all discoveries, it has its established and new usage areas.
The impact of the paper is nearly endless. It came from China in the year 200 before Christ! The knowledge of the paper production was first diffused in the Eastern Asia, and therefore it spread itself to the west and to Baghdad. The paper industry started in Europe in Portugal and in Spain in the 900s. From there, the knowledge of making paper scattered to Italy and to France, and it reached Germany in the 1300s.
The paper means that we can write and doing different things with the paper that we just can dream of, and what we can imagine! One has used different technology through all times to produce things with the paper. In the beginning the manufacturing of paper was done by hands. But in the middle age, there was used hydropower. The European paper production expanded quickly after discovery of the printing machine with loose fonts in the 1400s. Paper has traditionally been quite expensive to produce. And one used steam engines to produce paper in the beginning of the 1800s. A paper machine is a machine that is used to produce paper from paper mass. The production of the paper today is similar to the process used with steam engines. The paper was produced in several stages, and that is the situation also today.
A paper machine has in principle four stages: Wet, press section, dry section and calendering. Before the paper mass comes into the paper machine, the paper mass should be looked up and painted in such ways that the paper should be stronger. Finally, the paper is rolled up on large rollers. The paper comes from the lumber in the forests! That is amazing! Think what is in nature, and what can be done about it. We can learn even more about the forests and the grounded areas!
The word paper comes from the Greek word «papyrus». Hence, every word has come from something, not from nothing. You should dwell with the meaning of words, and how one word could be used in one, some or many instances. But this use should be relevant, it should have a sensible meaning for something, otherwise it is just theories trying to explain human nature and nature.
We use paper for many purposes today, for instance writing different documentation and different letters in business life, and all newspapers around the world are using it. We also use paper for presents, and many more things. You can use the paper to what is thinkable! And just the humans and their brains define the existing usage areas and also the new usage areas! Welcome to creativity and analysis in the world, you can use the paper for both things!
