Darkness Arrival - A Short Story Chapter III
We walked for about half an hour and everything was going out smoothly. We decided to take a shortcut through the woods. I was feeling a bit worried about any wild animal that could attack us, but I had to remain calm, the situation was not yet any better.
Suddenly, a weird loud crack noise was heard not far from where we were and we stopped walking immediately.
"What the fuck was that?" whispered John.
"Shh ..." I said while pointing the rifle.
On the distance we started hearing footsteps. We looked around but couldn't see anything.
"I think someone's messing with us," said John.
"What's that!?"
We turned quickly and saw a black silouhette walking through the trees.
"Hey! Hello!" shouted James.
The silouhette kept walking slowly and we looked at each other confused.
"Let's follow him... her?" said John.
We started walking towards the mysterious figure. As we were getting closer, we realized it was a naked woman. She didn't seem to notice we were following her. We kept our distance, the situation was spooky enough already. A few minutes had gone by and we were getting tired.
"Let's just let her go, that woman is crazy, she didn't even hear us screaming before and she is walking naked through a dark fucking forest!" argumented James.
"Guys, what is that r-red li-light ...?"
