The beginners mind seems to hold a sense of curiosity about the world, such a glorious sense of childlike wonder. I love that you included a bit on that popular phrase "are you a learner?"
I recently watched a Ted talk about slight language differences, and this word in this nominal tense learner has so much more potential weight in the mind of the listener than the in simpler verb context as learn.
For example, if you asked someone:
Do you want to learn?
Vs.
Do you want to be a learner?
People will find much more meaning and connection with this second phrase, bringing them closer towards their learning mind!
