RE: ADSactly Crowd Story

in #writing7 years ago (edited)
  1. Sam realized that the man who tried to kill her at the waterfall her was none other than the local Town Sheriff! How could she run for help when the law enforcement is already trying to kill you.
Thoughts of who she could run to help her , now were slim. Fear and panic start to take over her....."why didn't I just get a photograph down by the river?' "Why didn't I stop halfway through the extra long hike without anyone around." Sam quietly lays down, still shaking from the gunshots noise.
Anymore of this and I won't be able to make it..... she is still, quiet yet hears some voices.
Just then, she looked up and saw ....
Sort:
  1. [following the time line] ...a contortion in the rocks on the ceiling. Stealthfully, she maneuvers her body along the formation. She thinks to herself that the worst that could happen now is that she would be stuck here for hours. She still has room to slide her lithe body. Water is trickling underneath her. Sam focusses her mind. She moves like a worm, inching along. She sees more light, yet less room for her body. Sam grabs at an outcrop to steady herself. It gives way, and she quickly uses her back to hold herself in place.

As time stops, the loosened rock makes its way down her body and the crevice below her. She can hear a thud. Before long, muffled voices. Sam draws on her inner being; pulling herself up just a little higher. She wiggles through this "new" opening. "You can do it, " as she screams within herself.

Sam is now on a bit of a ledge and no longer in the cave, though still obscured from sight. She listens and waits. She gets as comfortable as possible and allows herself to fall asleep...

wow @cryptick @nashwildcard @jasonchick @clove71 @aedroberts you guys really got into this! Thanks sooo much for contributing! Love reading all of your styles and imaginings!

Thank you @satchmo for getting the ball rolling and for the nice shout out. I added to the story last night but it is at the bottom of the page. I hit reply to the post with the most recent time stamp.
Thank you, @cryptick @jasonchick @clove71 @aedroberts it has been fun writing with you. I haven't written in a very long time.

We will be doing these more and more ;-)

Looking forward to them will check out your regular posts as well.

Well, thank you @satchmo for being the catalyst and initiative taker. Please feel free to contact me through my website or DM on Steemit chat and we can corroborate for future endeavors.

One thing I noticed is that as comments were entered it automatically renumbered them. My first post I had numbered as 3. three and then it went to one 1. I noticed that Jason and put a dot in front of the number and was then able to number it three 3. Both Clove71 and aedroberts had ones also. Given how good they write I know they can count, so they had the same problem I did. I don't know what is causing this bug or feature, but it sure made it hard to number them in order. In the future we may need to number differently or start with on non numerical character.

Yes; I noticed this but not to your acuity. I think what is most important and certainly for future exercises as this (because I can guarantee that several of us are Hooked) to always respond next in line via REPLY. Snick! Snick! That's a great thing here.

Its when ever a comment is voted, his value floats to the top. @cryptick - can ladder comments
