It is sad. I just can't imagine being in the situation where I had to deal with the grief of loss AND having to make the decision of what to do next that would be best for everyone.
It would be devastating, but you'd have to keep your head :(
Oh, absolutely. I just can't imagine living in those times when I'm sure it was commonplace. It it surprising to think of the fact that it really wasn't "that" long ago!
