Raymond tuned up his collar in an attempt to ward of the crisp night air then tilted his hat to the oncoming wind and started his walk home, the previous conversation from inside the pub where he paid his routine nightly visit still weighing heavy on his mind.

“A witness to injustice, who's actions does not defend justly, is just as guilty as the doer of said unjust” He thought to himself, as he walked into the ever pressing oncoming wind.

When he reached his apartment, Raymond removed the key from his right hand jacket pocket, then stepped in closer to unlock the gaits that kept him from its inviting comforts, just to find that he would not need the key to enter. “Just how much sugar coating would life need in order to appear a bit sweeter?” he murmured just before he stopped cold in his tracks for long enough to make out the constant hum of a buzzing sound.

Had he been robbed? Was this an act of vandals? The further Raymond moved through the house the more he debunked those theories and with those questions out of the way – the only questions left here were, “What the hell is going on here? And what is that God awful sound?”

Nothing on EARTH could prepare Raymond for what he was about to see;

Raymond picked up a baseball bat conveniently left standing upright in the hallway, by his cousin on the last family visit, and carefully approached his bedroom door then nudged it open a fraction trying to spot any movement as he peered in. When suddenly he heard the muffled sound of a very familiar voice through the waves of an unfamiliar buzzing that seemed to be decreasing in volume.

He burst into the door, bat readied to launch into a swing if needed and yelled out:

“Whoever you are….”

Raymonds sentence abruptly stopped as the bat slid from his hand and fell to the floor. “Holy mother of…. What the… Is it… How is this possible?” he seamlessly rambled in confusion. The source of the muffled voice now identified as coming from the man hanging upside down from what appeared to be a stream of electrical pulses protruding from a portal of some sorts behind the man who was a mirrored image of Raymond.

Raymond carefully approached the man, then removed the tape that covered his mouth.

“Quick, get me down from here!” The man protested.

“Wait, who are you and what are you doing…”

But Raymond was quickly interrupted mid-sentence by the hanged man.

“We don’t have time for this – I am Raynando, I am you from a parallel universe, I was held captive by a feline race in a world facing the verge of total destruction but managed to escape through this portal. NOW! Get me down from here so that we can stop your cat, before it is too late!”

Once free from his constraints Ranando quickly continued after seeing the look of utter confusion on Raymonds face; “You see my last visit here I sent you a little anonymous birthday gift”

“Terry? My goldfish? That was from you?” Raymond asked puzzled.

“Yes” Raynando replied, “you see Terry as you call him, is actually the host of an entire multiverse that exist inside of him, we sent terry here to your world for the protection of the multiverse. You see should something happen to terry the butterfly effect that it would have it on every world as we know it will be destroyed! But the Felinixus discovered our plan,” he continued “from what I can gather the Felinixus have morphed one of their own into the shape of a Ginger House cat, who has since entered into your world with the sole mission to illuminate Terry, and he should be here any moment! This portal is the last one that will be able to join out two worlds and it won’t stay open for much longer. We have no time to spare!”

With that said Raynando still a bit unstable on his feet made way for the door but before he got to the door he clumsily stumbled and hit his head against an open cupboard door “FUUUUCK… OUCH… MY BALLS” he cried, as he placed both hands on his head.

Raymond was taken aback with immediate effect and at a loss for words just stared quizzically at Raynando.
“Did I forget to mention that one drawback of the portal is the old switcharoo between the balls and the brains?” Rainando proclaimed while still in a state of agonizing pain.

Raymond flung Raynandos arm over his shoulder, and together they made their way to the kitchen, where Terrys’ bowl was kept, and not a moment to soon, the Felinixus had already discovered terry and was leaning over the bowl ready for the kill.

Raymond leapt forward and grabbed Terry’s bowl wile Raynando managed to get the cat.
“Luckely I finished one semester in veterinary school covering basic castration!” Raynando said in a suave tone.

Raimond replied: "Now that is one injustice that I really wont mind turning a blind eye to!"
