I remember sitting at the children's table when i was young. Now that I'm an adult I sometimes wish I could go back there, it might have been the ultimate table all along.
And how wonderfully ironic would that be? If we knew to appreciate it at the time, and rest in that knowledge that the "adults" table was a mirage, and illusion, then perhaps it would have been both our starting point, and our destination.
