Very nice story, a non ending never ending nightmare that won't go away. He should have loved his little girl instead of all the hate and anger. I guess the little girl finally got some thing to eat and ate fine at eight o'clock.
The eight represents the infinite and the never ending, now the old man have to live forever inside a nightmare 😅
