Who is @asbonclz? An entry to @surpassinggoogle's untalented contest

"Who is @asbonclz in steemit?"
In response to @surpassinggoogle’s untalented contest initiative, I am pleased to introduce to you the man behind the name @asbonclz… The man who loves to eat foods, of course who doesn't? LOL!

I bet no one has correctly pronounced my account name @asbonclz. Anyway, asbonclz is pronounced as as-bong-kolz and it was originally used by my friend Rico Boncz a.k.a. the original asbonclz! He actually changed asbonclz into sabonclz, that’s why I am now using the account name asbonlcz even in my facebook account.

So who is @asbonclz? The man behind @asbonclz in steemit is Christian Volter Gelsano Ranada, 25 years old, born at Tambulig, Zamboanga del Sur on September 14, 1992. The eldest and the only son of Mr. & Mrs. Roel and Lagrimas Ranada. As you guys noticed in my blogs, I really am fond of cooking. I also sing and play guitar sometimes. We are only four in the family and my younger sister @shairanada has also been steeming for a while now.

When I was in grade school, I always get high grades especially in mathematics. I just loved math, especially geometry. That was when I decided to be an engineer someday. I was also a consistent honored pupil until grade five. Do you wonder why I consistently topped only until grade 5? It was because I started to become something different, like a spoiled brat who only cared to play around without minding to study. But still I didn’t fail in any subjects. I finished grades 1 & 2 at Tungawan Elementary School, then continued and finished grades 3 to 6 at Tambulig Central Elementary School.

It was on 2004 that I entered in high school, at San Isidro High School in our town. It was a catholic school and I was somehow transformed into a religious person. I served as one of the Knights of the Altar or a Sacristan in our parish for 4 years. During these years, I felt my first infatuation for a girl. I was one year ahead of her and I always deny the feelings even if it was already known throughout the campus LOL! I graduated in high school on 2008.

I took Bachelor of Science in Ceramics Engineering at Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology. Was it my choice to take this course? Hmm I guess yes, because I was only given two options, either Metallurgical Engineering or Ceramics Engineering. I always wanted to be a Computer Engineer but my entrance exam rating wasn’t enough to qualify for it. So I decided to take Ceramics Engineering instead and planned to shift course after 2 years but I somehow loved the course although I always get failing grades LOL!

It was hard for me to sustain my educations (not financially) but academically since I end up having so many vices like alcohol, cigarettes, computer games and even the use of marijuana. I took everything for granted and it was when I got a 4 point something GPA that I get serious with my education. I was even challenged by one of my friends that if I wouldn’t change my lifestyle then I wouldn’t be able to finish my course. I took the challenge and faced up all the trials that came in my way.

I took my 320-hour on the job training at Nakayama Technology Corporation in Digos City, Davao del Sur on April 2013 – May 2013. I was designated in the Research and Development Department, in the Raw Material Section and in Brickplant Monitoring. It was my first job experience and I enjoyed it.

On April 2015, I finished Bachelor of Science in Ceramics Engineering and I was so happy that day. I couldn’t believe that I managed to attain one of my life’s goals and that is to finish college in MSU-IIT. Later that year, I engaged into my first employment at House Technology Industries in Rosario, Cavite as Ceramics/Laboratory Engineer. By the way, we do not have board exam so we automatically become a Ceramics Engineer right after we graduate. And therefore for additional credentials in my resume, I took CSE-professional last October 2016 and fortunately I passed on my first take. Yey!
During these years, my duties and responsibilities include raw material testing, checking and conducting investigation and inspection to the process to see hint for improvement. I also oversaw and controlled standard conformity of the production procedure and operation. Then I helped designed and conduct experiments as well as analyzed and interpret data from simulated ceramics process. Bu I went home here in Iligan. I choose not to sign the regularization contract because I have other plans in life. And truly life does not really care about our plans and goals.
It was on the last week of August 2017 that I stumbled upon steemit.com in youtube. I got so interested and therefore I immediately registered for an account and then studied it. I invested most of my time and efforts in the platform. And I owe my progress to all the people who helped me and supported me throughout my journey in this community. I acknowledge @surpassinggoogle for this initiative that I am able to talk even just a little portion about my life. Thank you!

Smoking? That predisposes you to a heart attack, the longer you do, the earlier you'll have it.
Alcohol? Liver cirrhosis and other nasty liver diseases.
But still..it's your body, your choice. Your life.
