The man who regretted not connecting with his spirituality while on Earth ....

The man who strongly believed that it would be a nothing blank after death saw his mother and his brother in his hospital room, both had died a number of years ago. He was elated to see them but felt a little confused, he was so sure that life did not go on after dying. He knew that he was close to death, he felt so immeasurably weary after fighting the cancer for so long.

With one last breath he felt himself rising to the ceiling, he looked down and saw his family crying, his wife laying on his chest weeping, his tearful children looking down at him . "Look up, I am still alive." But they did not hear.

The man's mother and brother guided him to the light, leaving his earthly life to arrive in the most beautiful place he had ever seen. But, they kept going until he was on his own standing in front of a big scanner. It started to play, it was a movie about him and his life.

He saw how he put his business first over his wife and children, he was so intent to be successful financially and be influential. The man watched how he talked to his employees, he was sharp and biting in his comments, his employees were upset and hurt. He saw how he had spent so much time at meetings, business lunches, travelling away. His wife talked about spirituality, she was always so considerate and kind to others. He was always scornful and had no time to look after his soul. He had no time or patience for intuition.

The man felt himself moving, he was being taken to a place that he had earned for himself. It was not as beautiful as the first place, the colours were dimmer, the flowers were not as pretty. The house he walked into was small, not like his home on Earth. He realised that you sow what you reap was true.

If only he had tried to understand his spirituality, put some effort into it. He felt so regretful. The man had a lot of work to do and all the time in the world to raise his consciousness and evolve.
