I love pasta, because it is One of the main symbol in my country. The Italian name of this dish is: Spaghetti allo scoglio
(English version: Spaghetti with Sea food)
In cities near the sea in Italy this is a tipical dish.
Spaghetti are a tipical kind of Italian pasta and they are cooked here with tomatos and many shrimps, mussels and squids. Sea foods are delicious if they are fresh (2-3 days at most since when they are dishes). These spaghetti are not commercial but they are home-made and obviusly are better. They usually cook in boiling water for 3-4 minutes and then cook with tomatos and sea-foods. In this way the sauce is good and it creates a good mix with pasta.
I ate this dish in Lampedusa this summer and it was very good and tasty.
