Como una forma de promover el arte en la comunidad @franyeligonzalez invita a este concurso que llegó ya a su novena entrega. Se trata de hacer un texto escrito que puede ser: historia, cuento o poesía o una ilustración con el material que se desee, a partir de un dibujo digital propiciado por xpilar. Mientras dormimos

 

Contamos con un entorno privilegiado,
distantes de otras especies,
nadando contra la corriente sin salir del mismo círculo.
Nos hemos aclimatados en nuestra soledad compartida.
Solo tú y yo en medio de la belleza del estanque.

Somos prisioneros;
pero disimulamos que lo sabemos,
o lo ignoramos por seguridad,
porque a veces es mejor desconocer
y dejar la corriente que corra para los osados.

Tú y yo entendemos que el tiempo cesará.
Ambos contamos con la experiencia que nos propicia el querer estar así,
amodorrados sin casi movernos, mientras las aguas se aclaran.
A veces es mejor no mirarnos,
fingir que no nos conocemos
evitar, preguntas innecesarias.

La reclusión en compañía pesa menos.
Aunque los grilletes no son visibles
lucimos las marcas sin quejarnos.
No andamos pidiendo compasión
aunque algo de ayuda no nos caería mal.

Quietos, pasivos en demasía,
aprendimos a masticar los anzuelos
Héroes del agua y de la novela aprendida
solo esperamos la cuerda que está próxima a romperse.

While we sleep

We have a privileged environment.
Distant from other species,
swimming against the current without leaving the same circle.
We have become acclimated to our shared loneliness.
Just you and me in the middle of the beauty of the pond.

We are prisoners;
but we pretend that we know it,
or we ignore it for security,
because sometimes it is better to ignore
leave the current to run for the bold.

You and I understand that time will cease.
We both have the experience that makes us want to be like this,
drowsy without almost moving, while the waters clear.
Sometimes it's better not to look at us
pretend we don't know each other
and thus avoid unnecessary questions.

Seclusion in company weighs less.
Although the shackles are not visible
we show off the brands without complaining.
We are not asking for compassion
although some help would not hurt us.

Quiet, too passive,
we learned to chew the hooks
Heroes of water and the learned novel
we just wait for the rope that is about to break.
