The World of XPILAR - B&W PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #034 ~ Entry Post

Do you play traditional games when you were kids? I did and played a lot of these games in those days. So when I got to watch this group of kids playing this traditional game called 'teng-teng', it attracted me to stop and watch them play. It just feels like I was walking down the sweetest memory lane playing this traditional game with my neighbors when I was kids like them.

Teng Teng is a kind of children's game with a one-foot and two-foot jumping method. This game is also known as Ketinting. In the 'kampung' or villages, children will play them on teng-teng courts, like the one you can see in this photo. However, the traditional court is much simpler and usually is done by scratching the line on the ground using a stick.
