I LOVE THIS COMMUNITY - ALL PRIZE MONEY IS IN
So we can now all relax and wait who of the eight remaining teams will make it. The Charity Amount is secured so I am just saying May the Best Team Win - on the bidder side we have an exciting scenario - who will win the Fight - who will soon organise a huge World Cup Party? I heard some rumours it could become an event hotter than Steemfest someone called @twinner claimed in a chat - I only heard by others. Are these rumours true?
BTW - if anyone on Steemit wants to donate any more money to the pot we will not say no as well! Please check the Final Eight Teams and let me know your predictions - who will make it to the Semi Finals?

Since yesterday the Steemit Charity World Cup Contest for the Football World Cup 2018 has completed all team auctions - the following list shows the final owners per team, their contribution to the prize (charity) pool and whether they paid already.

The prize pool total is SBD 524.452
This was a good community effort raising a good amount where 50% goes to charities active on the Steem Blockchain. All bidders paid - so here the final allocation.
First Place (World Champion): 30% of the pot (157.33 SBD - rounded )
Second Place: 15% of the pot (78.66 SBD - rounded)
Third Place: 5% of the pot (26.22 SBD - rounded)
The other 50% of the total basket wich means 262.226 SBD will be paid to Charity.
The charities we support are @papilloncharity from South Africa and @steemarity from Austria. Also the winning Steemians can feel free to donate their amount to a charity – but that is not a requirement. For now tis means each charity will receive 131.113 SBD
