I'm working from home. Are you?
I'm a remote worker for almost a year now.
You wanna know why I gave up the secured and comforting life of a Modern Slave?
Because I can earn a lot more working from home and I mean a lot.
Companies or clients that are allowing us to work at home are much more generous because they don't have to spend for your working station and internet connection. And there's no 3rd to 4th party that gets a cut from your salary as well.
Another reason is that it's not so demanding of my time and effort since I don't need to travel to work and prepare myself for 1-2 hours before my shift. I don't have to get dress and make myself presentable for other people. Sometimes I don't even take a shower for 3 days straight.
I feel much freer now. I can manage my time very well and do stuff that I'm NOT able to do before.
