Do you work overtime?

Work has been connected to most employees and most them make sure that they have done their task before the end of the day. Working them efficiently and effectively some whenever there will be performance evaluation they will surely will get high ratings which most company owners recognize them and give them rewards for the effort.

But sometimes there are unfinished workload due to possible time delay from your counterpart or task has been given to during your shift end. But since the company observes a no back job works from employees or they want to have quality works and at the same time no delays. So the employee should need to extend its effort and time.

Sometimes it is really difficult to accomplish your work load if most of them does required a lot of time. That is why an employee need to do overtime just to accomplish all those works and that performance are always maintained. The rewards of the effort will be surely be recognized by the management.

So take those as a challenge, everything will just pass and remember that tomorrow is a new day. Be an efficient worker and at the same time a quality worker.

O yes I work over time and I feel enough. But in my company overtime doesn't exist.
Overtime is counted only if you drop dead on the work and then they have to compensate to the relatives.

My experience is that you end up used and not reworded. Also it creates not healthy environment and competition. For example someone has more obligations at home and then it can't perform at the equal level. Team efficiency in the working time is crucial for the benefit of all.
One bad example is one my friend's company where they employed only divorced men. So he ended up loosing his job because he couldn't compete with people staying overtime and performing more. He has 2 kids and he has to commit some time for his family also.
This is exactly what I think you have to think of the personal well-being also. Company is competing on the market but at the end work-time has to be regulated to stop overtime and reduce overtime to minimum.
If the overtime is constantly required than company has to employ more people.
