Cuenta la leyenda, que en un bosque se encontraba la cura para la diabetes tipo I.

Sí, ese dulce amargo que lleva mucha gente en sus venas. Se trata de una sustancia fluorescente que solo se encuentra en los nórdicos bosques ubicados entre tres países, Noruega, Suecia y Finlandia.

En esos bosques, crece un musgo cerca de sus ríos, el cual, durante la noche boreal tiende a brillar iluminando así los bosques con un mágico y enigmático destello verde manzana.

Para llegar a ellos hay que atravesar un río, que une a los tres países, y el mismo les llevará hasta un paraje donde deberán esperar la siguiente aurora boreal, al termino del año.

Al llegar al sitio, no se puede tomar el musgo así como así, hay que esperar, por lo que hay que acampar entre unos 3, 4 o cinco días, ya que si se corta el musgo en el momento que no se debe, queda totalmente inútil.

Al establecerse, deben esperar la noche, y si hay aurora boreal y ésta brilla verde intensamente claro, ese es el momento de tomar el musgo, pero este debe prepararse ahí mismo, en el mismo lugar de donde se extrae, y la persona con diabetes tipo I, debe consumirlo ahí mismo y solo durante tres noches seguidas.

El musgo debe hervirse estando fluorescente, debe calentarse durante al menos 2 horas, y luego, aún hirviendo, debe servirse en una copa de pino, aproximadamente unos 200 cc (una taza) y luego acostarse sobre los musgos y dormir mirando las auroras boreales.

Se repite este ritual durante tres noches seguidas, justo cuando las auroras son más brillantes. En la tercera noche, se debe dar gracias a los espíritus por la medicina dada, se debe hacer una oración en lengua nativa y mantenerse despierto hasta el amanecer.

Una vez realizado todo esto, la persona que sufría de la Diabetes tipo I quedará completamente sana, su páncreas se habrá regenerado y podrá llevar una vida sana, sin preocupaciones, sin inyectarse más insulina, sin estarse pinchando los dedos para controlar sus glicemias.
