It's my favorite music genre since the early 80's. But back then we only used the term "Artrock" to decribe this kind of music, in special with the bands you've mentioned in the post. Today, bands like Dream Theater or Porcupine Tree also come in mind. And countless more! It's still a huge scene, often crossing the border to progressive metal.

I still love listening to the old artrock from the 70's, Yes and J-Tull, but i also enjoy some new bands. The cool thing about progressive rock is that it's always progressing, while other music (except Jazz) is not.
