Untitled
Good things come,
To those who wait,
Least that's what they told me...
So in hope,
I didn't do a thing,
Quite sure patience would reward me...
But she smiled,
And she laughed,
And she spoke in that sweet little voice...
And all,
All which I held,
All came tumbling out in perfect noise...
Patience,
Is a virtue,
Least that's what I heard before...
Forgive me,
I betrayed thee,
But all is fair in love and war...
And I have the former...
