DIY wood laminate hand tool pt1
This is a video I made to show you how you can make your own handtools. I use these tools all the time when I'm cleaning/disassembling guns, and working on small projects. I have been told they are quite useful in painting and sculpting as well.

I have a fairly big wood lathe, but it doesn't have a motor right now. I got a good bargain on the price because of no motor. I haven't been working on it because summer is too busy for me to add that to my schedule. Hopefully I can find the right motor for it this fall.
I'm guessing you could make some nice file handles that way also.
File handles would be a great project, I'd check the local classified ads for an old table saw or band saw and use the motor from it. I see table saws on craigslist for 30-50 dollars all the time.
