            Absolutely beautiful. I swear, my favorite parts of living on the sailboat were the 'other side of the island' places where the waves crashed like this. I have thousands of photos from sitting on outcroppings/beaches just taking photos for hours! :) This is GORGEOUS.

              Thank you, @byn. I have about a bajillion myself, having grown up on an "island" (in quotes, because while Gloucester, MA is technically one, you didn't have to reach it by boat, so in my brain, it doesn't count).

              Speaking of, this shot is actually from Gloucester - hubby, the eldest, and I went down to visit my mom (we live about 90 minutes away from my hometown now), and drove around the back shore on the way home so I could snag some shots. Good thing they were with me, or I'd still be there, snapping away. 😜
