Good luck and I'll be keeping an eye on your results! Along with your backup node, I would definitely consider running a seed node as well which helps others nodes sync on the chain in a decentralized way.

thanks for stopping by our little project @lukestokes. The seed node is definitely step 3 on our roadmap.
But providing the backup node is the first milestone. Hosting these servers is not the cheapest as you know so we would like to make the project self sufficient by increasing the services one step at a a time.
