Witness Server Replay is Going Well (I thinks...)

So I'm about 8 hours into my STEEM witness node replay and almost at 25% done so far. Probably should have started my HF21 compile and replay a few days ago but perhaps if all goes well the server will be ready to produce blocks on steemd v0.21.0 by time the network and rest of the witnesses are ready to invoke the upcoming version of our blockchain. We shall see I guess, I think my last replay took about 2 and a half days on a new style MIRA node (which uses a FUCKLOAD less RAM than its non-MIRA counterpart, woot).

Currently the witness campaign has yielded a current rank of #79 or so.. Meaning I get roughly 8 blocks a day.

While not a huge fan of the upcoming 50/50 split between authors and curators decided to support HF21 as to not stand in the way of progress. With that being said I've powered up a decent chunk of STEEM in order to maximize my curation rewards on posts once the HF21 changes kick in.. Yeah authors are going to take a bit of a hit on their post payouts, but it also makes the deal sweeter for investors in order to make them buy and HODL STEEM as SP. Hopefully this makes STEEM prices go a wee bit higher than they currently are, or alot more.

Will keep ya'll updated on the replay, I'll check it in the morning tomorrow and see where the replay percentage is. The last 50% of the replay is always considerably slower than the first part (due to usage of STEEM) but hopefully the server will be ready for block signing before the fork in 3-4 days.
