All I can say is that I would vote for @jrswab... not so sure about doing so via jerry banfields abandoned witness account
I am not going to beg people to vote for Jerry's account. He wanted to earn steem passively to help pay bills so I told him I'd run his server as long as he stops talking bad about steem. Feel free to message me on discord with questions.
this sounds like a fair deal to me. there is nothing wrong with Jerry speaking in a positive way now, and bring new users under proper pretenses. let JR answer the questions on what to expect as new steemians and leave jerry out of it.

you should ask him....if you had made as much money as him that 23 steem a month investment would have been pretty good...yea? I hope to keep this platform moving forward and not backward....I have dealt with a lot of history and bs on discord regarding mistakes made and lessons learned and have had my fair share as well....I hope to learn from them and tend to surround myself with people who stay in the moment. What is going to be the best for this platform is the question on my mind. Let's open up that discussion,,,yea?
The best thing to do is for everyone to take care about the community but not about himself and use steem only for his interest.
I just look at what I do to benefit the platform, there is not enough time in this life to deal with the things that people have done wrong. I have done things just for the benefit of me on this platform and for someone to waste their time wondering why I did this is not my style
the question is where I am at right now, am I don't for the community or down for myself? this has changed day to day since I got here almost a year ago and it's a question for me to ask myself and not for me to answer to anyone else really. Sure I could take my valuable time and find the faults of others but I would rather spend my time helping people see the long term possibilities...this is my preference. Lots of edginess lately and I am sold on @jrswab 100% because I know what he is capable of, and his head is in the right place, he is taking on a huge job right now and going against the grain for the good of the platform. He has my support cause I trust him.
If he gave you the master keys and you became 100% owner of the account and witness it'd be a whole different ballgame than him just paying you to run it and still pocketing the block rewards. I get why, we all have bills. The greatest issue here is he's still the owner and the witness is fully under his control. He can bite down on his dick extra hard one day, get pissed, shut you out and then what? No one doubts your competence but everyone doubts his sanity.

So he changes his keys and starts up his server elsewhere? Then it would just by as if he turned it back on himself. He has no access to the server and all he can do is either stiff me on the STEEM or change his keys.
Why are you trusting him not to stiff you? All in all, the point to all this drama is he is back in the witness game. Whether you're running it or not has nothing to do with it since it's his account. If you shut down the server he'll just hire another dev. Doubt he ran it himself originally in the first place. You being honest about it and announcing it just served yourself a plate of shit for no reason.
I'd rather be honest and receive all this trash talk than to try and hide it just to save face. I believe witnesses need to be transparent no matter what the cost.
I wish all the best to the people tossing mud at me for my choice. They are allowed to have an opinion as well as the rest of us.
