voted your witness @reggaemuffin... By the way what's your bachelor thesis on? The only thing I feel bots should change is ban plagiarists and vet the content to some extent. It might require some more time and effort, but at least prevents abuse.

My bachelor thesis is on runtime verification. My plan is to adapt a runtime verification language into ruby on rails so that it automatically verifies everything on new changes. It is a push to see if academics and real world use can be connected, while keeping the strong properties of the language.
MinnowBooster is working hard to ban all plagiarism. But as @patrice can probably confirm, it is a loosing battle. So we rely heavily on users reporting abuse they notice.
Sounds interesting and promising, all the best for your thesis! And yes that's very true, searching content as a curator gives an idea of the abuse that's rampant here. But your dedicated work for the community is notable, keep it up :)

I think it will be very difficult to implement! Checking the uniqueness of the content will be hard. Users should understand for themselves what they are doing!
Recommendation! Plagiarism can be tolerated, but with some limitations in the percentage. Moreover, it would be more effective if for plagiarism they simply blocked the opportunity to vote. To the post, which contained plagiarism was simply closed for voting.
