RE: [WHISKY TASTING] Everyday Luxury from the Legendary Glenlivet Distillery 💧

Those pictures are a beautiful sight, even if you didn't take.
As you know by now, I agree! Glenlivet 18yr is a superb whiskey for nearly any palette. I do have to say the 16yr Nadurra is a wonderful scotch as well, much better flavors (in my opinion) although it does carry a harshness that isn't present in the 18 or the 21yr Archive. Thanks for the review!

Yes, the Nadurra batches are usually around 55% ABV, so some harshness is to expect. Do you drop in a bit of water in the Nadurra?

Sorry just noticed the reply! For the Nadurra I use a chilled glass. I let it sit for a minute on the counter so a little bit of frost builds up and then pour. I don't like using tap water, I feel like the chlorine and fluoride disrupt the flavor.

Oh yes, definitely don't use tap water if it's heavily chloridated! We have the fortune that our water in Sweden is very clean and "natural". Some whisky's you "have" to water down a bit though - like for instance the 60% "Glenfarclas 105". Otherwise you'll miss out on so many flavors that will remain "locked in". I recommend buying a quality bottled water then.
